01Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run the service:
- Account: your email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Telegram, your Telegram user ID and username.
- Payments: order records (amount, currency, status, provider reference). Crypto payments are processed by NowPayments; we never see or store wallet private keys.
- Usage: purchased and consumed bandwidth, and the proxy settings you generate.
- Security: the IP address and time of sign-ins, and an activity history of changes to your account (password changes, balance adjustments, and similar). You can see this history in your dashboard.
- Server logs: IP address, timestamp, and request path.
02How we use it
To operate the service: authenticate you, process payments, provision proxy credentials, send transactional emails, prevent abuse, and understand how the website is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
03Analytics
We use PostHog, a product analytics service, to understand how visitors use the website. It records page views, clicks, the page or campaign you arrived from, and session recordings in which all form inputs are masked. Once you sign in, these events are linked to your account ID and email address. Analytics requests are sent through our own subdomain and processed by PostHog Inc. in the United States. PostHog stores a random identifier in a cookie and in your browser's local storage. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, analytics are disabled.
04Error monitoring
When errors occur we may send technical diagnostics to Sentry (error message, browser, page). This is used only to find and fix bugs.
06Service providers
We share the minimum data needed with the providers that run parts of the service:
- NowPayments: payment processing.
- Our upstream proxy provider: receives a pseudonymous sub-user name, never your email.
- PostHog: analytics (see section 3).
- Sentry: error monitoring (see section 4).
- Our email provider: delivers transactional emails such as verification and receipts.
- Telegram: only if you choose to sign in or buy through our Telegram bot.
07Data storage & security
Data is stored on servers in the European Union. Proxy credentials are encrypted at rest, passwords are stored as salted hashes, and access is restricted to authorised personnel.
08Data retention
Account data, orders, and your activity history are kept for as long as your account exists. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. Deleting your account in the dashboard deactivates it immediately. To have your personal data erased as well, email legal@proxies.vision; we'll erase it except for payment records we're legally required to keep.
09Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and object to analytics. Email legal@proxies.vision and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
